“Ambassadors for Christ” – October 13th, 2018
Dear Church Family, Speaking in behalf of someone else is an important role. As a pastor my task each time I preach or teach is to be God’s mouthpiece. My goal is to say what He would say if He was in Person speaking. An ambassador to a foreign country has the same job. He is to accurately represent the viewpoint of the one who is over him. The same is true for any follower of Jesus. We are to accurately represent Him as we talk to those who don’t follow Him. Tomorrow morning we will be looking at 2 Corinthians 5:20-6:2. The title of the message is “Ambassadors for Christ.” Other verses that will prepare your heart for our time in God’s Word are John 8:46, I Corinthians 1:30, and Galatians 5:1-2.
