“The 7 Final 7 Plagues: Part II” – November 23rd, 2016

“The 7 Final 7 Plagues: Part II” – November 23rd, 2016

Dear Church Family, God is worthy of our thanks, as we saw last Sunday, because He pours out upon His children “grace upon grace.” It is one blessing after another that comes from His good hand. He also is worthy of thanks because of who He is. We are grateful that He is loving, merciful, all-wise, and our Protector, but are we thankful that He is holy, just, and true to His Word? This Sunday morning we will be looking at Revelation 16:10-21. The message title is “The 7 Final 7 Plagues: Part II.” Other helpful verses are Zephaniah 1:15, Daniel 11:36-37, and Ezekiel 38:19-20. The climax of God’s judgment during the end times will leave the world reeling. May you express thanks to the One from whom every good and perfect gift comes. Until Sunday, God bless you and have a wonderful thanksgiving holiday! In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...

“Jesus: Our Key to Grace and Thanksgiving” – November 17th, 2016

“Jesus: Our Key to Grace and Thanksgiving” – November 17th, 2016

Dear Church Family, One of the easiest choruses that we sing is “ God is So Good.” The words are simple. The tune is memorable. The message is comforting. Part of its effectiveness is because we need to be reminded of the simple truths about the Lord that make a difference in how we live our lives. This Sunday morning we will be reminded of the truth that God is a God of grace. That grace should lead to a thankful heart. This Sunday morning will prepare for communion on Sunday evening and Thanksgiving Day this coming Thursday with a message titled, “Jesus: Our Key to Grace and Thanksgiving.” Our text will be John 1:14-17. Other verses that will prepare us for the upbeat message are Isaiah 9:6, Ephesians 4:7, and 2 Peter 3:18. May we realize the extent of His grace and be more thankful as we personalize the grace that He gives to each one of us. For those of you coming up Market Avenue northbound to the church, remember that the road will be closed on Sunday morning. It will take you a few extra minutes to come to church. We are looking forward to a grace-filled morning. Until then may the love of God and grace from our Lord Jesus Christ fill your hearts. In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...
