Dear Church Family, Nobody likes rejection. The dictionary defines rejection as “ The act of not accepting, believing, or considering something.” When our ideas or opinions are vehemently rejected, we feel spurned as well. There are few causes that are as noble than to be rejected for the One who could write a book on rejection, the Lord Jesus. On Sunday morning we will be studying Matthew 11:16-19. The title of the message is “Rejecting Christ and His Servants.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s word are Psalm 22:6-8, Isaiah 49:7, and Isaiah 53:1-3. “True Greatness: Part 2″ – May 18th, 2022
Dear Church Family, I occasionally run across a list of the best of 5 presidents in our nation’s history. That list will be very similar to another person’s list of the 5 worst presidents in our nation’s history. There is little agreement on what makes a great president let alone who meets the predetermined criteria. True greatness is difficult to define and equally difficult to evaluate. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 11:11-15. The title of the message is “True Greatness: Part 2.” Other verses that will assist in preparing you for our time in God’s word are John 6:27, Acts 16:29-31, and Colossians 1:27-29.
