“God’s Final Judgment” – October 27th, 2016

“God’s Final Judgment” – October 27th, 2016

Dear Church Family, I am grateful for a number of things about my parents and how they raised us. One of those things is that they did not let us get away with a lot. They would follow through on their warnings with punishment that was generally appropriate for the offense committed. That instilled a sense of justice that is healthy for any person to have. God’s justice is perfect and His judgment is inevitable. This Sunday morning we will be examining Revelation 14:14-20. The message title is “God’s Final Judgment.” Other verses that are related to Sunday ‘s sermon are Deuteronomy 32:3-4, 2 Timothy 4:1-2, and 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10. The tough passages and themes of Scripture are crucial to our discernment and wisdom to live the Christian life. I pray that you are blessed by our time together. Be in prayer for 20 or so ladies from the church who are going on a retreat on Friday and Saturday. May the Lord’s good hand be upon you as well. God bless you and keep your eyes on Jesus! In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...

“When Angels Preach” – October 19th, 2016

Dear Church Family, Different kinds of people preach at different times. Sometimes the preaching is good, and sometimes the preaching is not so good. For instance, sometimes husbands preach at wives and wives preach at husbands. Sometimes coaches preach at their teams. On a regular basis pastors preach to congregations. It is a very rare event when angels preach to people. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Revelation 14:6-11. The title of the message is “ When Angels Preach.” Other verses that shed light on Sunday’s message are 2 Peter 3:9, Jeremiah 51:6-8, and Matthew 25:40-41. I trust that you will enjoy this unusual theme for a message. May the Lord grant you a glimpse inside His eternal heart on Sunday as we enjoy worshipping Him together. God bless you and have a great day! Because of Jesus, Pastor...

“Victorious Christians” – October 13th, 2016

Dear Church Family, Everyone likes a victory. Victory tastes sweet and certainly beats losing any day. However, it is not always easy to measure what a true victory looks like. We can think that we won when we lost and think that we lost when we won. It might be easy to measure in sports, but it is not so easy to measure in life. This Sunday morning we will continue our study in the book of Revelation. Our text is Revelation 14:1-5. The title of the message is “Victorious Christians.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time together are Psalm 121:1-8, Psalm 33:1-3, and 2 Corinthians 11:2. I am looking forward to being with you on Sunday. Until Sunday, may God give you all the grace to be victorious in Him. Have a great day! In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...
