“The Divine Design for the Church: Part II” – September 28th, 2017

Dear Church Family, Some jobs are hard to evaluate. For instance, it is hard to evaluate how well a mother is doing her job when she is in the midst of her child raising duties. Is she doing an A level job or a C level? It is hard to measure how well a teacher is doing his or her job. The standardized tests, in my opinion, are not a fair or accurate way to measure how well a teacher is performing. This Sunday morning we will be studying Ephesians 4:14-16. The sermon title is “ The Divine Design for the Church: Part II.” Other verses that will prepare your heart for the message are Colossians 2:4-8, Philippians 1:9, and Galatians 5:6. These verses shed some light on the criteria that God uses to evaluate the effectiveness of the gifted men that He gives to the church. The same is true of God’s design for the church. This Sunday morning we will be studying Ephesians 4:11-13. The sermon tittle is “The Divine Design of the Church.” Other verses that will help you to prepare for Sunday’s message are Luke 22:31-32, Acts 18:24-28, and I Corinthians 11:1. It is even more important to follow God’s design of the church than it is to follow the design of any other designer. May you bask in the glory of this beautiful weather and fulfill God’s design for you. God bless you and have a wonderful day! In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...
