“Our Patient Lord” – July 3rd, 2024

“Our Patient Lord” – July 3rd, 2024

Dear Church Family, I’m truly grateful when others are patient with me. It’s a form of extending grace and who doesn’t like grace extended them? On the other hand no one enjoys having their shortcomings rubbed in their face, but everyone loves when people take into account their human frailties. No one is more patient with us than God. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 26:47-56. The title of the message is “Our Patient Lord.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Exodus 34:6-7, Romans 15:5, and 2 Peter 3:9. May we grow in our appreciation of God’s patience with each one of us. Have a wonderful fourth of July weekend culminated by our worship of the King of Kings. Because of Jesus, Pastor...

“When We Stumble” – June 19th, 2024

Dear Church Family, “We all stumble in many things” is one of the short yet poignant statements made by James. That is so true! You would think that we are pretty good at knowing how to think and react to our stumbling since we do it so often. That, however, is not so. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 26:31-35. The title of the message is “When We Stumble.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Proverbs 18:12, John 15:5, and John 21:15-19. “Two Sides of the Same Coin” – May 15th, 2024

“Two Sides of the Same Coin” – May 15th, 2024

Dear Church Family, Some of the greatest theological questions revolve around the same theme. Is God responsible or is man responsible? Almost always the answer is the same, “Yes.” God works and even controls people and events and yet man is responsible for his choices. The dynamic is very real,  definitively fair, and thoroughly impossible to figure out. On Sunday morning will be looking at Matthew 26:1-5. The title of the message is “Two Sides of the Same Coin.” Other verses that will prepare your heart for this fascinating text are Genesis 24:27, Psalm 115:3, and Philippians 2:12-13. I am looking forward to being together and sharing truths from God’s precious Word. May the Lord guide you as you choose wisely to follow His ways. God bless you and have a wonderful day! In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...
