Dear Church Family, Surprises come in all sizes and shapes. Some surprises thrill our soul, leave us speechless, and add considerable spice to our lives. Other surprises our unwelcome visitors, leave us befuddled, and can cause us to worry incessantly. The worst surprise that anyone can experience is to anticipate spending an eternity in the presence of God but instead discover that they will be outside His presence for all eternity. On Sunday we will be examining Matthew 7:21-23. We have confidence in the advice given by a loved one or a friend. What and who believe plays a critical role in the quality of our life. That raises the questions, “ Are there times when I should not share the gospel with people?” “ Am I right to judge them as not worthy of hearing the gospel at this time?” On Sunday morning we will seek to answer these and other difficult questions in a message titled, “ Judging Properly.” Our text is Matthew 7:1-6.
