Dear Church Family, It’s a huge blessing to have people who are on your team. Family, friends, co-workers who are pulling for you and with you, especially when you are down. Dear Church Family, One of the challenges of living more than 1900 years after the last book of the Bible was written is that can be difficult to know how the good book applies to situations that present themselves to us today. Some verses are easy to apply. It’s always wrong to lie. Other situations seem far removed from the words of Scripture. When in doubt, we can look at what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Those principles always apply and give direction to our lives. On Sunday we will be looking at Matthew 16:24-27. The title of the message is “Elements of Genuine Discipleship.” Other verses that will help prepare you for the message are Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, Matthew 10:24-25, and Luke 6:46.
