“Responding to the Resurrection of Jesus.” – October 2nd, 2024

Dear Church Family, I have wanted to say, “you had to be there” numerous times over the years. I refrain since that only means that I didn’t connect with the person or audience and that I can’t hope to do so if I try again. So I just let it go. The same can be said of countless Bible stories. You had to be there to fully appreciate the creation of the universe, the feeding of the 5000, and,yes, the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 28:1-10. The title of the message is “Responding to the Resurrection of Jesus.” Other verses that will prepare you for the first message in the last chapter of Matthew are Psalm 16:9-10, Luke 24:36-37, and Romans 8:29. Dear Church Family, How people respond to us is revealing and part of what makes  who we are and become. Friends, family, teachers, and coaches all have a part in making us into who we are. Few people have more influence in our lives than a father and his response to us. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 27:51-53.
