Dear Church Family, “Variety is the spice of life.” That truism has validity in the home, in our jobs, and in church. It’s heathy for us to break from our routines to do something that is different and fresh. This Sunday will break routine during our Sunday morning and evening services. On Sunday morning we will enjoy having Remnant, a drama team from Grace College, for both morning services. Remnant will minister to us in a variety of ways as they share the love and grace of our Lord Jesus in many, fresh ways. On Sunday evening we will enjoy being together for a Moving Forward Meeting where we track where God has taken us and where He is leading us in the future. It should be a refreshing day! Dear Church Family, The first order of business when dealing with any opposition is to answer these two questions,” who is my opponent and what is his or her strategy?” Answering these two questions is invaluable whether we are in a political, media, or business environment. We need to know who is hindering us and then what he or she is doing to defeat us and our purposes. The same is true in the Christian life. We have an enemy who must be identified and his strategies which must be understood. This Sunday we will be looking at Ephesians 6:10-13. The title of the sermon is “ Spiritual Warfare 101.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Philippians 4:1-3, 2 Corinthians 11:1-3, and Colossians 1:15-16.
