“Generations of Guilt” – January 10th,, 2024
Dear Church Family, No one likes to be judged, especially when we are judged guilty by the party who is rendering the judgment. Generally the judgment is inconsequential aside from the negative emotions that it triggers within us. When the guilty judgment is rendered by God, however, that is a different matter. On Sunday we will be examining Matthew 23:29-36. The title of the message is “Generations of Guilt.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Deuteronomy 32:3-4, Psalm 5:4-7, and Revelation 18:17-20. What makes that dynamic so dangerous is that we generally can fool ourselves and think that we are fooling God. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 23:23-28.
