“Lessons from the Triumphal Entry” – August 30th, 2023

Dear Church Family,

“What does a win look like in this situation?” I asked this question to a pastor friend of mine recently and the good Lord used that question to help him discern if he should have a meeting and what he was trying to accomplish at that meeting. Was our Lord’s “triumphal entry” really a triumph or was it really something less than a triumph? Was it a win?

On Sunday we will be continuing our study of Matthew’s gospel. Our text is Matthew 21:1-11. The title of the message is “Lessons from the Triumphal Entry.” Other verses that will prepare you for this interesting text are Psalm 118:22-29, John 6:15, and James 4:1-3. I trust you will be blessed by this fascinating passage.
