“The Motivating Power of the Resurrection” – April 13th, 2022

Dear Church Family, There are some things that motivate us that should not and some things that don’t motivate us that should. When I think of the latter, the love of Jesus, the best interest of others, and the glory of God come to mind. We really should be highly motivated to live in light of these realities. If I am honest, sometimes these truths drive my behavior and sometimes they don’t. On Sunday morning we will be celebrating Easter. The title of the sermon is “The Motivating Power of the Resurrection.” Our text is I Corinthians 15:29-34. Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Romans 8:36-39, I Corinthians 15:58, and 2 Timothy 4:6-8. We also will enjoy brunch together at the 10:00 am Sunday School hour. Dear Church Family, What we say matters in life. It shows what is in our heart. It impacts others. It is a significant area of life that will be judged by God. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 10:32-33.
