“Beware of False Prophets and False Teachers” – August 25th, 2021
Dear Church Family,
We trust the veracity of peoples’ statements regularly. We trust our doctor’s diagnosis and prescriptions. We place our faith in our financial planner. We have confidence in the advice given by a loved one or a friend. What and who believe plays a critical role in the quality of our life.
The trust that we place in the words of those who broker spiritual and moral truth may be the most important of all. On Sunday we will be looking at Matthew 7:15-20. The title of the message is “Beware of False Prophets and False Teachers.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in Gods’ word are Ezekiel 34:1-5, Romans 16:17-18, and I John 4:1-6. I am looking forward to the Lord meeting us on Sunday morning.
