“An Eye for an Eye” – March 10th, 2021
Dear Church Family,
“Looking Out for Number One” was a popular book when I was a very young adult. In fact, I was in the process of reading that book when I gave me life to Jesus. My interest in the Bible skyrocketed and my interest in “Looking Out for Number One” plummeted. I never did finish reading that book. It’s a good thing because it is diametrically opposed to the clear teachings of the Lord Jesus.
On Sunday we will be looking at a classic text. The passage is Matthew 5:38-39. The sermon title is “ An Eye for an Eye.” Other verses that will prepare you for out time in God’s Word are Leviticus 19:17-18, Proverbs 20:22, and Romans 12:17-19. As always, I can’t wait to be with you to worship the One who is worthy.
