“Overcoming a Broken Heart” – June 20th, 2018
Dear Church Family,
One of the most debilitating things in life is discouragement. Nobody wants to be discouraged. It feels terrible, affects us physically, and prevents us from operating at our optimum level. One of the most challenging types of discouragement to overcome is the discouragement that we experience when serving others.
This Sunday morning we will be studying 2 Corinthians 2:12-16. The title of the message is “Overcoming a Broken Heart.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Psalm 106:47, Romans 15:15-16, and Colossians 3:23-24. I am looking forward to sharing a few causes of and solutions to discouragement with you.
May the Lord be “ the One who lifts up your head,” Psalm 3:3, as you live for Him today. God bless you and keep your eyes on Jesus!
Because of Him,
