“A Glimpse of Heaven: Part II” – April 27th, 2016

Dear Church Family, We fall in love with singers, sports teams, political figures, causes, money, and people. The human heart was created by God to worship. It is impossible for us to not love and adore something or someone. In fact, Jesus said, “ No one can serve 2 masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money, “ Matthew 6:24. There will always be a first love in our heart. Hopefully that first love is almost always the Lord! This Sunday we will be looking at Revelation 4:8-11. The sermon title is “ A Glimpse of Heaven: Part II.” Other verses that will help to prepare you for the message are Matthew 14:30-33, Genesis 24:48-52, and Psalm 95:3-7. Worship is an area of the Christian life that we can always be motivated to do more frequently and better. May you express your love to the One who loves you more than Anyone else in the universe. God bless you and have a great day! For His Name, Pastor...

“A Glimpse of Heaven: Part I” – April 21st, 2016

Dear Church Family, It is an interesting phenomenon when someone acts in a way that is different than we anticipate. We think that we know them, but they demonstrate that we don’t know them completely. Their action can be good, bad, or neutral. Our increased understanding of them benefits us as we interact with them in the future. This is also true of our understanding of God. This Sunday will be entering a new phase in the Book of Revelation. We will begin to see the future. Our passage is Revelation 4:1-5. The sermon title is “ A Glimpse of Heaven: Part I.” Other helpful verses are Matthew 3:11-12, Psalm 85:10, and Deuteronomy 32:4. We will see a wonderful picture of the one, true God on His throne in all of His glory over the next two Sundays. We can’t help but worship as our understanding of Him crystallizes. May you enjoy the next few days as you live in light of His magnificence. Until Sunday, God bless you and have a wonderful day! Magnifying Him, Pastor...
