“How to Respond to God’s Loving Discipline” – October 29th, 2015

“How to Respond to God’s Loving Discipline” – October 29th, 2015

Dear Church Family, Nothing tests a person like the trials of life. They show a believer that he needs the Lord and that he has a long way to go before he is just like Jesus. They show an unbeliever that he is not really part of the family of God. Furthermore, our response to trials can be a source of strength and inspiration to other believers and a shining light to those who are without the Lord. Our response to trials are an important aspect of life. On Sunday we will be examining Hebrews 12:12-17. The message is titled, “ How to Respond to God’s Loving Discipline.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are  I Samuel 23:16, Psalm 5:8, and I Peter 3:10-11. I hope that you are challenged and encouraged by God’s wonderful Word on Sunday. May the Lord strengthen you in your inner person as He walks through the challenges of life with you, Ephesians 3:16. God bless you and have a great rest of the week! In His  Matchless Grace, Pastor...

Our message is titled, “ When God Disciplines His Children: Part II.” Other verses that will shed light on the sermon are Deuteronomy 21:18-21, I Peter 1:15, and John 16:33. I am looking forward to completing this wonderful portion from Hebrews 12. Please be in prayer for our 26 or 27 ladies who are going on a retreat Friday and Saturday as they study the theme of brokenness before the Lord and enjoy each other. Until Sunday, may the Lord make His face to shine upon you. In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...
